连续小波变换VLSI实现的研究进展
Advance of VLSI Implementation of Continuous Wavelet Transform
【摘要】 小波变换已广泛地应用于信号处理中 .然而 ,实时小波变换计算量大 ,需要专用硬件来实现 .连续小波变换的 VLSI实现在处理速度、功耗及适用频率范围方面都具有较明显的优势 ,且实现方法灵活 ,但这个领域却鲜有人涉猎 .本文对近年来有关该领域的研究情况作了综合评述 ,讨论了其中存在的几个问题 ,并指出了今后的若干发展方向
【Abstract】 The wavelet transform(WT) has been extensively applied to signal processing systems.Special purpose hardware is needed to implement the huge computation of WT.The VLSI implementation of continuous wavelet has not only conspicuous superiority in speed,power consumption,and the frequence range applied,but flexible ways of implementation.But it has been scarcely explored.This paper tries to summarize the research on this field,and the problems associated are also discussed.Finally,several directions in the development of the VLSI implementation of CWT are pointed out.
