【Abstract】 Phytophthora capsici, a pathogen of pepper blight, could produce a toxin on CFB medium. Results of bioassay suggested that the toxin could inhibit obviously the growth of pepper, mungbean, c owpea and cucumber radical. The toxin could damage cell membrane of host leaves. When the toxin was used to treat plants, a similar symptom could be induced as if caused by the pathogen in the field.更多还原
