【Abstract】 The quality of National Matriculation English Test Paper is closely related to the quality of freshmen enrollment of high schools, and brings about guiding effects to English teaching at middle school. Taking Zhejiang and Shandong for example, the writers try to analyze the feedback and backwashing effects of NMET paper. In order to give a better guidance to English teaching at middle school, the writers pose some questions to be discussed.
