【Abstract】 The discussion on the essence of education which began at the end of 1980’s is still a focus in the theorical field.From the viewpoint of social development ,the essay attempts to make a systematical analysis about the historical background of the discussion,the main views of the various schools and the foundation of the social position of education.And it also primarily gropes into the influence on Chinese educational development from the discussion and illuminates what we have abtained from it.更多还原
