α-Al2O3微粉表面稀土改性对铝基复合材料性能的影响
EFFECTS OF RARE-EARTH SURFACE MODIFICATION OF THE a - Al2O3 MICROPOWDER ON THE PROPERTIES OF ALUMINUM MATRIX COMPOSITES
【摘要】 采用液相包裹法对α-Al2O3微粉进行稀土Y2O3表面改性,用挤压铸造法制备表面经稀土Y2O3改性的α-Al2O3/Al复合材料,并 对复合材料进行拉伸性能测试。结果表明:表面经稀土Y2O3改性的α—Al2O3微粉能均匀的分布于Al液中,材料的组织更加均匀;与未改性 粉体增强Al复合材料相比,复合材料的拉伸强度提高20%,屈服强度提高30%,延伸率提高一倍以上。
【Abstract】 Liquid encapsulated approach was used in rare-earth modification on the surface of a - Al2O3 micropowder. The aluminum matrix composite reinforced by the a - Al2O3 particles which had been surface modified by Y2^O3 was fabricated using squeeze - casting technique, and the strength of the composite was tested. The results show that the modified a - Al2O3 micropowders are distributed uniformly in the aluminum liquid. The microstructure of composite are more even. The tensile strength of the composites reinforced by the modified a - AkO3 micropowder is increased 20% , yield strength is increased 30% , and the elongation is nearly twice as much as that of the as-received Al2O3/Al composite.
