掺杂对高纯氧化铝致密化速率的影响
Influence of Doping on the Densification Rate of High-purity Alumina Ceramics
【摘要】 研究了MgO、Y2 O3 和La2 O3 3种不同氧化物掺杂对高纯氧化铝致密化速率的影响。测试了试样在 12 5 0℃不同时间烧结的密度 ,观察在 14 0 0℃不同时间烧结的微观结构。掺杂降低了Al2 O3 的致密速率 ,而且对于相同的掺杂 ,随着掺杂量的增加 ,致密速率也随之下降 ;具有较大离子半径的稀土氧化物Y2 O3 和La2 O3 比MgO有更强的抑制高纯Al2 O3 致密的作用。掺杂的Al2 O3 的晶粒尺寸明显小于纯Al2 O3
【Abstract】 The influences of doping with three oxides(MgO?Y 2O 3 and La 2O 3)on the densification rate of high purity alumina were studied in this paper.The densification rate of samples sintered in 1250℃ with different amount of doping cations was examined.The microstructure of samples sintered in 1400℃ with different time was investigated by SEM.The densification rate of Al 2O 3 decreased by doping.Furthermore,the densification rate decreases with the increase of doping quantities;Y 2O 3 and La 2O 3 with larger ion radius are stronger than MgO in inhabiting densification rate of high purity Al 2O 3.Doping also retards the grain growth in sintering.
