原子转移自由基聚合制备ABA型嵌段共聚物

【摘要】 以α,α′-二溴代二甲苯为引发剂 ,Cu Br/ 2 ,2′-联吡啶为催化体系 ,制备了双溴端基的分子量分布窄的聚苯乙烯 (MWD=1.2 1)。再以此作为大分子引发剂 ,实现了甲基丙烯酸甲酯的原子转移自由基聚合 ,制得了分子量可控且分子量分布窄的 ABA型嵌段共聚物 ,即聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯 - b-聚苯乙烯 - b-聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯。

【Abstract】 Atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) is a kind of useful method for the realization of living polymerization and synthesis of block polymers. Polystyrene double caped with bromine ( MWD = 1.21 ), Br PSt Br, was synthesized by ATRP method using α,α ′ dibromoxylene as initiator and CuBr/2,2 bypyridine as catalyst and ligand at 110 ℃. Then using the Br PSt Br as difunctional macromolecular initiator. ATRP of methyl methacrylate(MMA) was realized and ABA type block copolymers, PMMA b PSt b PMMA, were synthesized. The structure of copolymers were characterized by NMR and GPC. The number average molecular weight calculated from 1H NMR agree well with the theroretical value, and molecular weight distributions were quite narrow.
