【Abstract】 In this paper, two types of defect, namely, void and interface were made in epoxy resin specimen, and detected with ultrasonic pulse-echo method. The type of defects can not be recognized from the waveform in time domain. In this paper, wavelet analysis was used to extract the ultrasonic characteristics for each type of defects.
