统一于三角面片的可靠多面体布尔集合运算
Robust Polyhedral Boolean Set Operations Achieved by Triangle-Based Representations
【摘要】 提出一种可靠的多面体布尔集合运算方案。可靠性的获得是建立在多面体的三角面片表示基础之上。基于这种统一的表示,本文给出了简洁的几何元素位置关系的判断方法以及获得一致性的完备推理规则。测试实例表明,只要参加集合运算的多面体不是病态的,该方案均能得出合理的运算结果。
【Abstract】 This paper proposes a new approach to robust polyhedral Boolean set operations. The robustness is achieved by triangle-based representations of polyhedra. Based on these unified representations, this paper gives a succinct method to obtain positional relations between geometric elements, and a group of complete reasoning rules to make them consistent. Tested examples show that the set operations can work well under any situation provided the polyhedra to be operated are not morbid.
