【Abstract】 The article draws a conclusion that pollutants are mainly from living sevage and garbage on the basis of thorough investigations on surroundings of Xicheng river and Xiqing river in Fuyang city. Con- trasting the test result on water quality in 2001 with that in 1998,we know that water quality tends to de- terioration.
