【Abstract】 From the aspect of psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and educational psychology, this paper analyses the strengths and weaknesses of Cognitive approach and Communicative approach. Then it discusses the complementary principles as well as feasibilities of these two approaches in college English teaching. Finally, it points out that the application of these two approaches to different subjects in varied learning stages has a great impact on the development of learners’ language ability.更多还原
