【Abstract】 By the end of 1980s,a new type of cultivated mode has been brought forth in the course of the development and reform of American Teacher Education, namely, Professional Development School (PDS). PDS focuses on setting up the relationship between teacher education institutes and elementary and primary schools in order to let those two parts take part in training teachers and developing researches cooperatively.
