The calibration of parameters is a key step in the application of IWA Activated Sludge Models. In this paper, three methods of calibration usually used in practice at present, including expert system, sensitivity analysis and process engineering are introduced, and the living examples are presented. The ideas of using several methods comprehensively and developing computer program are put forward.
