【Abstract】 The paper explains the process of fundamentals, the special features and the energy saving principle of the coal feeding technique for homogeneous row-to-row stratified combustion. Imperfections that appear in stratified combustion of chain grate boilers have successfully been dealt with, to raise the boilers’ output and efficiency and also to alleviate contamination caused by smoke and dust.
