【Abstract】 The relationship between Fresnel diffraction and fractional Fourier transforms is introduced. It makes it possible to describe the whole process of free space light propagation on the base of the scalar diffraction theory from the diffraction aperture to the infinite region-Fraunhofer diffraction region through Fresnel diffraction region by using fractional Fourier transforms.更多还原
