【Abstract】 This paper has used the computer image processing technology to get the flame combustion characteristic parameters from the boiler of the power plant. Based on the back propagation neural network, the method to monitor the NOx concentration from the power plant boiler has been developed. The experiments on the Furnace Flame Monitor Sytem of the power plant have testified that this neural network can get the satisfying result. Figs 9 and refs 8.
