【Abstract】 The theory and design on pavement is one of the key points for constructing long-span steel bridge. Pavement on steel bridge is an important part in vehicle system. The recent advance on this topic is reviewed for the last ten years, including superstructural development of long-span steel bridge, mechanics characterization study of orthotropic deck, material properties and pavement system of steel bridge.
