基于排队论和QoS的电力系统主干网带宽估算
BANDWIDTH ESTIMATION OF POWER SYSTEM BACKBONE NETWORKS BASED ON QUEUING THEORY AND QOS
【摘要】 随着电力通信网以及应用系统的高速发展 ,对网络带宽的要求、特别是主干网带宽的要求越来越高。合适的主干网带宽估算能够为电力通信网的建设提供有力的依据。目前的网络流量估算大多局限于对正在运行的网络数据流量的实时监测 ,而对大型企业 Intranet将来某一段时间主干带宽的估算尚无统一有效的方案。文中比较了多种网络建模与分析方法 ,提出了基于排队论和Qo S(服务质量 )的网络带宽估算方法 ,并以 IP电话为例 ,给出了详细的计算过程。该方法能在对应用系统进行详细分类的基础上 ,利用 M/M/1排队模型 ,直观、准确地估算出主干网络带宽。该方法适用于电力系统从地市到省公司的各种主干网带宽估算
【Abstract】 With the development of power system communication networks and application systems, demands for high bandwidth backbone networks are increasing. Current methods concerning network traffic mainly focus on real time monitoring and forecasting. There are no effective ways to estimate the future bandwidth requirement of the backbone network in a large scale enterprise. Various network simulation and analysis methods are compared in the paper. An approach is proposed to estimate the bandwidth based on queuing theory and quality of service (QoS). Applications in the electric power enterprise can be classified according to their QoS parameters. For a certain application, several results can be calculated using M/M/1 queuing model and its QoS parameters. A reasonable bandwidth for the application can be obtained by comparing the results. The whole bandwidth requirement can then be estimated after all the bandwidth needs are calculated. Detailed process steps are given for IP telephone bandwidth estimation. Bandwidth obtained based on the approach is valuable for backbone network construction in electric power enterprises.
