【Abstract】 Metallic thermal protection system(TPS) is one of the key technologies for developing reusable launch vehicle (RLV) in the U.S. Compared with the ceramic tiles, a state of the art metallic TPS has more efficient internal insulation, lighter weight, simple structure and quick release fastner system for easier installation and removal.This paper describes the characteristics, structure and test method of this metallic TPS.更多还原
