【Abstract】 It is a very complex process of physics and chemistry that the combustion of the base bleed propellant in whirling shape of high speed. To research this process, it can not be accomplished by using the ordinary high-speed optical photography. According to the characters of combustion process of base bleed propellant, this article introcduces a new method in which flash X-ray high-speed photography is used studying the combustion pattern of base bleed propellant, and through the processing of real X-ray films, obtains a new formula of the burning rate, so as to provide accurate and reliable basic data for the calculation of exterior ballistics of base bleed projectile.更多还原
