编织复合材料弹道冲击破坏形态及模式
DAMAGE PATTERN AND FAILURE MODE OF 3-D BRAIDED COMPOSITES UNDER BALLISTIC IMPACT
【摘要】 通过观测 1 2× 4型和 1 2× 6型两种厚度 Twaron/环氧四步法三维编织复合材料在 3 0 0~ 70 0 m/ s速度范围内弹道冲击破坏的宏观形态和细观形态 ,发现复合材料在受弹道冲击的入射面以纤维和基体剪切、压缩破坏为主要破坏模式 ,出射面以纤维拉伸破坏为主要破坏模式 .在三维编织复合材料弹道冲击破坏分析计算中 ,破坏模式的确立可使破坏准则的选择更准确合理 ,对进一步改进复合材料抗弹靶体的结构设计和材料设计有指导作用
【Abstract】 The macro- and micro- damage pattern of the tested 12×4 and 12×6 3-D four-step braided Twaron/epoxy Composites under dynamic impact with an incident velocity ranging from 300~700m/s are studied in the present research.After the observation,it was found that the major failure mechanisms in the impact side of the target are shear and compression failure but extensive tension failure in the distal side.The clarification of the failure mechanisms can make it more accurate and more rational to choose the damage criterion when analysing ballistic impact response of 3-D braided composites,it also can conduct the structure design and material design of ballistic protective composites.
