【Abstract】 The Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project Contract C03 for the construction of civil works of Power Complex and Ancillary was awarded to the Dongfang Electric Corporation in December 1996 and being executed by the same for nearly five years.The terms and conditions of the Contract are based on the standard form published by FIDIC as the 4th Edition for Works of Civil Engineering Construction with editorial amendments.prepared in accordance with the related field material including records,data,cases and whatsoever particulars which were collected and accumulated during the construction period of the Project.Together with the writers experience obtained from the past and the project,the paper presents major instances of the cost control management which was the first time applied by the DEC in such mega project in full cost elements.These instances include Principle of Cost Control.Data Structure,Control Indicator/Criteria and Decision Making,according to which summarizes the most effective and useful "Solutions" for each instance,and addresses the importance of the cost control management for the project.更多还原
