【Abstract】 Objective: To ascertain the reproductive health status and attitude to premarital sexual behavior, induced abortion and family planning service needs, To learn the possible and available way of providing reproductive health service by family planning service net for rural unmarried youth. Method: Questionnaire survey-the quantitative study. The contents include: reproductive health status, the attitude to premarital sexual behavior, induced abortion, the needs and the expectation of family planning service. Results: There were 58% unmarried youth agree to the premarital sexual behavior and 38% female unmarried youth had induced abortion history. Induced abortion in the hospital and family planning station, the percentages were 57% and 28%, respectively. The needed service contents provided by family planning station include the contraceptive service and reproductive health knowledge , the percentages were 40% and 48%, respectively. On the other respect, there were no significant difference for all of the results between different regions and between male and female youth. Conclusions: Unmarried youth’s premarital sexual behavior and induced abortion were significantly increased step by step. The study highlighted the urgent need to change the attitudes of family planning workers to provide contraceptive services. The government should develop clear policies to include adolescent education into family planning program.更多还原
