【Abstract】 The latest advances in the 1990s in evaluating hydrocarbon source rocks with well logs are presented in this paper, including two quick look techniques for identifying hydrocarbon source rocks, seven methods quantitatively determining organic richness and two methods quantitatively estimating thermal maturity. The log evaluation of the source rocks not only provides pertroleum resource evaluation with a quick and accurate method,but also sedimentary basin simulations with more rational parameters.更多还原
