【Abstract】 The statistical expression of the circulation velocity of money is presented by introducing the concept of money holding time, it follows that the circulation velocity of money is inversely proportional to the average money holding time. From the life cycle model of consumption and saving, the main result that the circulation velocity of money is determined by marginal propensity to save and time preference which are involved in decision making of consumption and saving is deduced.更多还原
