辐射治疗玻璃微球的制备与应用

【摘要】 通过火焰喷雾法或由湿化学法为基础的液相分离技术 ,可以制得生物相容的含钇 - 89和磷 - 31核素的玻璃微球 ,用于介入法辐射治疗恶性肿瘤。这些玻璃微球在原子核反应堆中经过中子照射后 ,成为带有钇 - 90和磷 - 32核素的微球 ,它们能发射出高能量短射程的 β射线。这些微球有优良的生物相容性 ,有较高的比活度 ,有适当的半衰期 ,能够很容易地嵌入目标器官内 ,杀伤癌细胞 ,在治疗肝癌、胃癌、胰腺巨大肿瘤以及子宫癌等临床应用中有明显的治疗效应 ,大约有 5 0 %以上的癌症晚期患者经微球的治疗后 ,生存期达 3年以上

【Abstract】 The biocompatible glass microspheres containing Y 89 and P 31 elements used for radiotherapy to cure malignant tumor can be prepared by flame spray method or liquid phase seperation technique based upon wet chemical method. These glass microspheres can emit high-energy short range β-ray due to the fact that the glass microspheres contain Y 90 and P 32 elements after neutron exposure in nuclear reactor. They are also able to enter into target organs easily to kill cancer cells because of their excellent biocompalibility, high specific activity, proper radioactive half-life, therefore they have remarkably successful therapeutic effect in clinical practice for curing hepatic cancer, gastric cancer, pancreatic huege cyst and cancer of uterus. About more than 50% of patients suffering from cancer in an advanced stage can survive for 3 years and over by curing with glass beads.
