铝合金的搅拌摩擦焊工艺研究
Study on friction stir welding process of Al alloys
【摘要】 搅拌摩擦焊是一种新型的固态连接技术。采用搅拌摩擦焊技术成功地实现了厚度为 3mm铝合金板材的对接、角接及园筒纵缝的焊接。分析研究了试验过程中搅拌焊头的形状、尺寸及焊接工艺参数对搅拌摩擦焊接头质量的影响。试验结果表明 ,对于厚度为 3mm的铝合金板材 ,圆柱形搅拌焊头的最佳设计尺寸是 :搅拌焊针的直径为 3mm ,肩部的直径为 9mm。采用该焊头在旋转速度为 180 0~ 2 0 0 0r/min ,焊接速度为 1.2 2~ 1.85mm/s的范围内 ,压力为 2 18N时施焊 ,可获得质量良好的焊接接头。
【Abstract】 Friction stir welding is a novel solid-phase joining technique. In this paper, butt joint, fillet joint and longitudinal seam joint of pipes of 3mm thick aluminium alloy sheets carried out with FSW are introduced. The influence of the size and shape of welding heads and the process parameters on the weld quality are studied. The results of experiments show that the optimal size of cylindrical welding heads for 3mm thick aluminum alloy plates is that the diameter of shoulder is 9mm and the diameter of welding pin is 3mm. Utilizing this welding-head, high-quality joints can be achieved by FSW when the rotating speed is in the range of 1500rpm~2000rpm, the welding speed is in the range of 73mm/min~111mm/min and the pressure force is 218N.
