【Abstract】 Objective\ An investigation was made into the state of the application of antibiotics and existing problems in our hospital. \ Methods\ Discharged files during April and October, 2001 were studied retrospectively on the state of application of antibiotics. 24 departments were investigated. In which, 3-5 files per month were taken from each clinical department. \ Results\ Among 577 cases studied, the application rate of antibiotics was 74.87%, in which, single antibiotic was used in 216 cases ( 50.00 %). Combination of antibiotics was used in 216 cases (50.00%). Irrational usage was found in 60 cases, accounting for 13.00% . More antibiotics were applied by surgical departments , the use of it for sterile incisions being 100%. Only 7% of the specimens were sent for bacterial detection. \ Conclusion\ A measure for rational application of antibiotics should be carried out.更多还原
