【Abstract】 In his medium length novel,PAN Jun creates an artistic image completely different from XIANG YU described in historical books .The novel is rich in thoughts and connotations:the writer does not judge a character by his success or failure,emphasizing the "means" rather than the mere "results" in human competition;he looks down upon power and status but seeks an ideal state of life surmounting practical utilitarianism; he also criticizes the autocratic male control,affirms and praises women’s kind heartedness,wisdom and detachment;finally,he boldly queries and reflects history, providing beneficial references for re considering and evaluating it.更多还原
