【Abstract】 Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) in different tissues or organs of wheat plant was determined.The results showed that the distribution of PPO was different in different tissues or organs,PPO activity was higher and the patterns of its isoenzyme were more richer in tender parts,and found to descend from the top to the bottom (flag leaf>kernel>ear stem>inverse 2nd internode>inverse 3rd internode>inverse 4th internode>root).Nine bands of isoenzyme pattern was found in kernel,indicating more isoenzymes in immature kernel than the other parts.更多还原
