【Abstract】 Both King Lear and Pedagogue transfer their power and wealth improperly. Which lead to their lonely similitude. Through the experiences of two men, the texts represent two different themes of humanism and patriarchal clan system. But both themes include the same irony, and have the similar axiology. Although King Lear eulogizes humanism and personality, Lear pursues the power, which leads to the bankrupt of spirits and modern nihilism. Pedagogue, on one hand, champions the patriarchal clan system and argues that patriarchal clan system overtopped the common affairs of life. On the other hand, Pedagogue weighs the worldly relations by money, which debases the patriarchal clan system actually.更多还原
