【Abstract】 After a careful examination of the demarcation of Chinese history of modern science and technology,the present paper holds that a discussion and reconsideration is needed as to the establishment of the years 1840-1919 as the demarcation of Chinese history of modern science and technology Meanwhile,the paper makes a probe into the principles and scientific basis for demarcating Chinese history of modern science and technology and provides a tentative scheme for the demarcation of this historical period更多还原
