【摘要】 《联对作法》一书之理论部分集中阐述了蔡东藩的联律观。其“偶句”主要讲对联应讲求传统对仗 ,个别地方为“不以文害词”可以适当放宽 ,但对“自对”未能认识完全 ,容忍某些因“集古仿古”而失对者亦不妥。“修词”讲对联之写作应切题切时切地切人切事 ,兼及“文境”。“谐音”揭示了对联声律规则马蹄韵的锥形 ,只是每边一到四句贯彻尚不彻底 ,五句以上的规则则完全没有弄清更多还原

【Abstract】 The theoretical part of a book entiled The Method of Composing Couplets focuses on Cai Dongpang′s view on the laws of couplets. The section about couplet sentences shows couplets should be traditionally parallelled. In some cases, the words which fail to express the meaning could be relaxed. Otherwise words might be damaged because of the literary language. Anyhow, he was not so aware of "the self parallelling". It was not good to lose parallelism for the couplets to collect and imitate some ancient sentences. The section "ornamented words" expresses that the writing of couplets should be close to the theme, the time, the place, the people and the subject matter. "Context" is also discussed here. The most important section of this part is "homophonic words". The embryonic form of rules on couplet rhythm--the rhythm of horse′s hoof is revealed here.更多还原
