【Abstract】 Longtepu A is an indica WA-type CMS line with good agronomic characters and combining ability developed by Zhangzhou Agricultural Institute. The serial hybrids of it have been grown in commercial production in many provinces of China. In 1998, the nationwide area under its hybrids was 767 100 hm2, occupying 5.12% of total hybrid rice area in China.
