【Abstract】 Digital city” is the hotspot issue, which will be a perfect platform satisfying the needs of information sharing, technology integrating and decision making for urban sustainable development. In this paper, the connotation of urban sustainable development is discussed in detail. After studying the background for the appearance of digital city and its status quo in domestic and overseas researches, the frame of digital city research supporting urban sustainable development is presented.
