【Abstract】 The Global Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP) of the Permian-Triassic Boundary has been ratified by IUGS. The boundary is defined at the base of Hindeodus parvus horizon, i.e. the base of Bed 27c of Meishan section D, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, South China. This paper provides a comprehensive description of the GSSP and summarizes the crucial achievements at the Meishan section, including biostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy and cyclostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, eventostratigraphy and chemostratigraphy, and chronostratigraphy.更多还原
