【Abstract】 ：Time change and space distribution of noise pollution of morning marke t in Beijing were monitored and analyzed. Result shows that the main noise of mo rning market is caused by the traffic noise with high level and large fluctuatio n when the transported commodity enters the market. The outer border noise at bu siness time is not the main noise source of the nearby residential area. The noi se level in morning market depends greatly on the commodity type and the exchang e area. Noise level in vegetables area is obviously higher than in clothes area. And noise level observed in outdoor vegetables area is higher than in indoor ve getables area, while opposite relation is observed for clothes area.
