【摘要】 本文简要介绍了国际上有关濒危语言的讨论 ,提出濒危语言是全球性的问题 ,濒危语言问题是对文化多样性的一个严重的挑战。作者论述了中国少数民族语言使用的情况 ,指出少数民族语言中部分弱势语言已经处在濒危状态 ,有的语言正在消亡或已经消亡 ,语言的消亡是人类不可弥补的巨大损失。作者认为 ,弱势语言的陆续消失是时代的总趋势 ,是语言学家们难以逆转的。在现阶段 ,应重视濒危语言的调查研究 ,抓紧濒危语言资料的抢救和保存 ,并采取有效措施 ,延缓弱势语言向濒危状态的转化更多还原

【Abstract】 In this paper, a brief introduction is first given to international discussions on endangered languages, with the proposal that language endangerment is a global problem, and is also a serious challenge to cultural diversity. The author then discusses the usage situation of minority languages in China, and points out that, among these languages, a proportion of “weak” languages are already endangered. Indeed, some are heading towards extinction or have already become extinct. The death of a language is a grave and irreplaceable loss for the whole of humanity. The author recognizes that the gradual disappearance of “weak” languages is a general trend which linguists cannot reverse. Therefore, priority should be given to investigation and research into endangered languages, with urgent efforts to record and preserve language data. In addition, effective measures should be adopted in order to delay the decline of “weak” languages into a state of endangerment.更多还原
