微芯片电极红细胞电介质电泳现象
Dielectrophoresis of erythrocyte using microchip electrode arrays
【摘要】 本文报告了一种基于微芯片叉指状微电极阵列的电介质电泳装置,并对人体外周血液红细胞的电动力学特性进行了初步探索。观察到了红细胞的悬浮、平移、旋转和多种富集模式,找到了红细胞产生电泳现象的一些适宜条件,讨论了红细胞正向电泳、负向电泳的产生机理。对于红细胞在电介质电泳时呈现出的其他现象,本文仅给出了可能的原因。
【Abstract】 The paper reports a dielectrophoresis device based on a microchip of castellated interdigitated microelectrode arrays. Dielectrophoretic property of human peripheral blood cells has been explored using this kind of microchip. Levitation, linear motion, rotation and several collection patterns of erythrocyte have been observed and suitable conditions for dielectrophoresis of erythrocyte have been found. The reason of positive and negative dielectrophoresis of erythrocyte has been discussed. Possible explanations of other phenomenon, such as rotation of the erythrocyte and asymmetry of the field, have also been given.
