【Abstract】 In this paper, the status of cobalt production from sulfide ores is discussed in terms of process technology, capacity and feed sources. The recovery methods, which are employed, are strongly dependent on plant location, size and type of the reserve, and the compositions of the feedstocks. Some novel technologies such as solvent extraction are being employed in a number of plants. Recent research activities on cobalt containing ores and concentrates are discussed.更多还原
