【Abstract】 During of studying the Wittig Reaction of 2,2 disubsitituted cyclopentane 1,3 dione, it was found that the product of the Wittig reaction was an alcohol rather than an olefin when sodium hydroxide was used as base, just like the product of Grignard Reaction. A pair of cis? trans isomers was separated and the crystal structure of the cis isomer was determined by X ray diffraction analysis. The probable mechanism for the novel product was proposed.更多还原
