【Abstract】 Ephestia elutella ,an important storage pest for tobacco,was reared at 25℃±1℃ and 70%～75% RH and fed with 12 kinds of artificial diet.Three of the artificial diets tested,designated as C,K and L,gave satisfactory results.They shortened the generation cycle of the pest by 6.8～24.9 days and increased egg-laying of the female adults by 44.00%～108.00% without affecting larva development rate,pupal weight,pupa eclosion rate,sex ratio and adult longevity and the hatching rate of their second generation eggs.Diet C performed best.更多还原
