【Abstract】 Signal transduction was observed while activation of specific receptors leads to highly specific biologic responses, these receptors seem to use ubiquitous signaling intermediates. One solution to this dilemma is that perhaps the specific signaling molecules are yet to be discovered. Recent reviews have discussed the diverse roles of this ubiquitous signaling intermediate. The thesis will focus on recently discovered mechanisms that they are likely to underlie the specificity of signaling through Ca 2+ /calcineurin and the NF AT transcription complex and discuss the implication for the development of drugs to modulate responses through this pathway.更多还原
