【Abstract】 The challenges and opportunities the NDT in China will be faced with after entering World Trade Organization(WTO) are discussed and analysed. In order to enhance the overall competitive power against imported mechanical products, the mechanical manufacturing industry is required to provide products with high economic characteristics, high reliability, high quality and high quantity. As the conventional technologies used in current NDT system are difficult to meet the requirements, breakthroughs of revolution in NDT technologies are in urgent need. For these reasons, innovation of NDT technologies and development of NDT new techniques must be realized. The total level and subsistent problems in the development of NDT science and technology in China are also discussed.更多还原
