【Abstract】 The Resolution of the Central Communist Party of China and the State Council on Health Reform and Development points out that"we should pay more attention to the training of managerial people of health administration and establish the health administrative workforce to meet the demand of the health development of our country." This gives a direction for and makes demands on the training of health managerial work force for our country for 21st century. At present, the medical and health structural reform is deepening and especially, hospitals are facing the great challenges from medical system and medical insurance systems, changes of medical market and market competition. This calls for more health administrators with higher ranks, higher capabilities and more qualifications and better skills in management. This article analyzes the numbers, qualifications and composing status of the health administrators of our city, and discusses the basic qualifications and capabilities that professional health managers in 21st century need to be equipped with. Base on this, methods and measure are proposed. Therefore, it offers the scientific basis for establishing educational and training goals, reforming personnel managerial system, and drafting medical policies.更多还原
