【Abstract】 A control system for the exciting unit of a synchronous machine based on 80C196KC single-chip computer is intro- duced in the paper. The block diagram of system hardware is presented. The system can operate at three close-loop control mode, include constant reactive power、constant exciting current and constant power factor.
