【Abstract】 In this paper, we present a scheme of video compression system based on wavelet transformation (WT). Its algorithm is simple in computational complexities and therefore can be easily implemented in hardware. Then, the principle of adaptive quantization is analyzed in detail. The structure of video coding system is also introduced. The experimental data show that the system can support multiresolution, realize wide compression ratios and constant compressed video quality .更多还原
