RRM交换机中MCI算法的性能分析
The Analysis of the Multi-bits Congestion Indication Algorithm in Relative Rate Marking Switch
【摘要】 在 ABR相对速率标记算法交换机中,用 CI和 NI来描述网络的拥塞状态。由于 CI, NI只有一个比特,只有表示网络状态拥塞或不拥塞的能力,不足以全面反映网络的各种拥塞程度。论文提出的多比特拥塞指示算法用多个比特将网络的拥塞程度进行刻画,比用单个比特刻画的算法精确。仿真结果表明多比特拥塞指示算法性能更优。
【Abstract】 The relative rate marking (RRM) switch uses the CI bit or NI bit to depict the network’s congestion condition. It is not enough to describe the network’s congestion degrees by using such algorithm because CI has only one bit, which can only show the network’s congestion or not congestion situation. We bring a multi- bits congestion indication algorithm (MCI) forward. It uses multiple bits to describe the network congestion degrees, which is much more precise than single bit RRM algorithm. The simulation demonstrates the better performance of theMCI algorithm.
