【摘要】 基于关系数据库开发的Webmail系统虽然实现了用户管理和邮件管理的功能,但是难以支持Webmail系统大容量、可扩展性的林求。本文分析了Webmail系统的基本功能,论述了目录服务的特点以及LDAP（轻量级目录存取协议）的四个模型,在此基础上,作者开发了一个基于LDAP的Webmail系统,较好的解决了系统的大容量、可扩展性的问题。更多还原

【Abstract】 The Webmail system based on the relational database provides the functions of Managing Mail user and it’ emails, however it is difficult to meet with the requirement Of high capability and extensibility. This paper analyses the basic functions of the Webmail system and addresses the characters of the directory service and the four LDAP models.
