【Abstract】 As a great novel of the twentieth century, Heart of Darkness has been widely studied and intensively discussed.But western critics seldom explained the horrible happenings in Congo from the perspective of human nature.This paper aims to discuss the profound meaning of human nature in Conrad’s Heart of Darkness .At the same time,the related theories of Nietzsche and Freud are taken into discussion to reinforce the practical meaning of this novel.更多还原
